Is there a way to do a Dell factory restore on a new HDD?

Just reset my PC using factore restore. O'nyl problem is that I wanted it to install on my new 2TB HDD instead of my old 640GB HDD. I can't fit both inside my case because it's too small(My 7950 is blocking the way) So I'm going to have to use one of the HDD as an External Drive.

Is there I way to freely and easily put the OS partition on my new 2TB HDD?

Thanks for the help guys.

I would create an image of the original HDD on the new HDD with a program like Norton Ghost or Acronis True Image.

Figuring things out for yourself is practically the only freedom anyone really has nowadays. Use that freedom. STEAM ID: Silentmark1138

You could also temporarily open the case and have the hard drive laying flat on hardwood or tile.

Okay. Which of those programs are free to use? Will it allow me to image my recovery partition as well?

Lol thats why I'm doing right now. The problem is that if I eventually plan to use my 640GB HDD as an external, I won't have any drive to boot from.
