Have you tried verifying the game cache? And I don't know if it's just my smartphone or my sickness, but I didn't see any problem in the screenshot you posted.

I don't know if it's your smartphone or your sickness either, but look in the lower left corner again :) There's supposed to be text there.

As for the problem itself -- did you google it? There seems to be a bunch of people with similar-sounding issues:

Oh, there it is. Haha. Pardon me. But yeah. It might be a botched installation. Have you tried searching around to see if anyone has had similar problems?

Thanks for the help guys i found a website that some other people had similar issues. Had to exit, then enter, windowed mode and its all works perfectly now.

Quite an odd glitch though but thanks for the help guys
