I'm at my wits end with how slow my computer has become please help

Here's what the documentation for my PC says:

SSD: Verbatim 2.5" SSD Black
Mother Board: MSI MS-X79A-GD65(80)+Frio Advanced Intel x79

I only have one security system active and that's BitDefender.
When I do decide to check with the other two I disable all my BitDefender stuff, disconnect from the internet and check with the other two.

I know, for a fact that they don't conflict with each other because when I installed BitDefender security(this was happening long before that) it asked to remove AVAST first which was my active antivirus at the time.

btw the computer has been working perfectly fine since I made this topic, and it will contunue to do so until the next restart or until the internet messes up, if it does.

I would check the support site for Verbatim and see if they have a diagnostic tool available for your drive.

If it's randomly failing to call up information it could very well be the solid state.

If you're not in Safe Mode you're not trying.

You are absolutely right my friend. Hopefully he went that route. In all seriousness have you tried Ccleaner?

No
but isn't BitDefender Interent Security the best of the best? I did a lot of reading before switching from AVAST ot BitDefender.

If they have a firmware upgrade or something
how risky would it be to install that and would it require reformatting?

I'm very reluctant to do stuff
because this slow down only happens when the internet isn't right and 10 or so minutes after initial boot up

Ccleaner helps clean out your PC especially any registry errors which can cause issues like the one you are having. It's a quick install, run a scan and fix then let us know if that fixed it.

It sounds like a hard drive issue. Either corrupted driver that CCleaner might fix, or something that requires a reformat.

you can try a firmware upgrade, but i have a feeling its not going to help.

I'll definitely give CCLeaner a shot as soon as I back some stuff up
hopefully that'll fix whatever is wrong

but the issue of the computer slowing down only when the internet isn't right or short after bootup still seems software related to me...could it be a bad registry? Though this exact same thing used to happen on my other computer which had TuneUp Utilities installed, good security and no SSD so i have no idea what's up

Mother of mercy please boot into Safe Mode (WITHOUT networking) and see if the issue persists. This way you can tell if it's a non essential Windows process that's causing the issue or not. If you don't have the issue then you've got some 3rd party software that's causing the issue rather than a Windows or hardware issue. This is troubleshooting 101.
