Should I purchase another Sapphire 7850 2GB?

So obviously, I am not tech-savvy when it came to dual monitor set up haha, so about actually putting it to use... would I be able to play some games on both or would the other simply be for multi-tasking while gaming?

You can use both screens for playing games if they support splitscreen- my friend would use eyefinity to play Dungeon Defenders with 2 characters at once, so he had a monitor per character.

Otherwise, you'll pretty much be playing on on screen while the other is for multitasking. Having the bezels right in the middle of the screen isn't all that nice.

Edit: I'm curious, which 7850 do you have, precisely? There are only 2 2 GB ones on Newegg, which both have 2 DVI outputs.

I've personally got the top one, and I was wondering why you didn't have two DVI outs.

Hmmm well I got the other monitor but so far I am not happy over it. Games looks stupid and I don't think owning another just so I can monitor Facebook is worth justifying $200.

You don't game across two monitors unless the game specifically supports it (which is very few).

Use the second monitor for things such as hardware temps, chat/VOIP, browsing the web, watching videos, looking over stats/spreadsheets/walkthroughs, etc. while you game on your main machine.

Just wait until you have to write an important paper / email, being able to do that on one monitor and being able to pull up information / sources on the other is extremely helpful.
