How good is this laptop for the price? (ASUS G750JW)

The specs seem good, but it's hard to get details on things like "reliability" and "is the plastic thin and cheap" and "do the hinges wobble" from specs. I was hoping somebody here has the same laptop and can give some answers.

i have the same one but 15.6 in one. ASUS is a good brand so you shouldnt worry to much on reliability. As for price its okay but its because of the specs. I'd recommend it

I'm probably going to wait until Cyber Monday in case of a sale (my current laptop is dated but functional, Lenovo Y570). Hopefully something even better comes out by then and lowers the price on this one, heh.

I have the same one but with a 660m.

"reliability" - I haven't had any major issues with mine. The keyboard is a chiklet (spelling?) style but it is easy to get used to.

"is the plastic thin and cheap" - Heck no, very thick tough feeling computer.

"do the hinges wobble" - again heck no, mine is rather stiff when lifting up the screen. It does not wobble or even hint at ever doing so.

I wonder why so many people dislike chiclet keyboards
