The specs seem good, but it's hard to get details on things like "reliability" and "is the plastic thin and cheap" and "do the hinges wobble" from specs. I was hoping somebody here has the same laptop and can give some answers. --- Best weapon combo in tf2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7oUWPbS4450&feature=channel_video_title http://www.last.fm/user/iammax

i have the same one but 15.6 in one. ASUS is a good brand so you shouldnt worry to much on reliability. As for price its okay but its because of the specs. I'd recommend it --- PSN ID: Ctx_Ghost FC: 1392 - 4747 - 3214
I'm probably going to wait until Cyber Monday in case of a sale (my current laptop is dated but functional, Lenovo Y570). Hopefully something even better comes out by then and lowers the price on this one, heh. --- Best weapon combo in tf2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7oUWPbS4450&feature=channel_video_title http://www.last.fm/user/iammax

I have the same one but with a 660m.
"reliability" - I haven't had any major issues with mine. The keyboard is a chiklet (spelling?) style but it is easy to get used to.
"is the plastic thin and cheap" - Heck no, very thick tough feeling computer.
"do the hinges wobble" - again heck no, mine is rather stiff when lifting up the screen. It does not wobble or even hint at ever doing so. --- Asus i7-3610QM @ 2.3Ghz, 16gig ram, Nvidia 660m 2Gb, 1Tb hdd @ 7200rpm
