Popular gaming mice of today?

#1Zeron RBPosted 9/6/2013 2:36:15 PM
In the past four or five years, I've gone through a logitech g4, two mx518s, and now my g500 is dying out on me. I'm on the look for a new mouse and I thought I might try asking here.

Seeing as how I've had the misfortune of losing such mice, I thought I might try putting the deathadder to the test and see if it somehow lasts longer than my previous mice. Just by the testimonials of people stating their deathadders have lasted them 3-4+ years is enough to persuade me, but there might be better alternatives that I don't know about.

There are people that still use their original MX518s.

There are also people that say their Deathadders crapped out after just months.

I think a big part of it depends on how much you handle the mouse with care.

I bough this mouse like 4 years ago, and its still hasn't failed me. Gaming mouses are a joke.

I personally love my G100. Though I may get a new gaming mouse because I want one that has lights on it.

I'm rocking a Corsair M65 and loving it so far. Very accurate, comfortable and very well built. Just my 2 though.

I agree that these should be the most popular, though I think most of the most popular mice are really the laser mice with the Avago 9500 and 9800 sensors, like the Sensei and what not. That is because the flag ship models have all the gimmicky features that sell, like customization in the lights, weights, a ton of DPI and all other kinds of stuff that they can put on the box to sell. It is easier to list some features than to convince people of the quality of the sensor.
