Off topic, but I need help. (About Mac...)

Hey, so I need a program, something like Microsoft Word that will let me type up an essay with all the necessary options (font size, Italic, underline, double space and paragraph settings etc), so Mac Notes is out of the question. And I cant just get Microsoft Word itself, because... wait for it... I'm using a MAC. So does anyone know a Word-like program I could use for Mac?

For Macs you can download NeoOffice (freeware). I've used it many times and it's a great MS Office substitute.
