How good is an "EVGA GTX 770 4GB GDDR5 Classified" for next gen?

Or more specifically next gen for this fall. I only have a GTX 580 ATM but would like to ultra Watch Dogs, AC:IV, etc at 1080P. GTA:V next year.

Would the card hold up?

I'm pretty sure you'll be able to run ultra settings. Not sure what performance you are aiming for. Only get the classified if you intend to overclock. Also getting the 4gb version is a bit pointless at 1080p. Spend the extra $120 for a gtx 780 or get a 7970/ 2gb 770. I would wait for AMD to release their new video cards and hope that Nvidia drops the price of the gtx 780.

Well they say a 760GTX 2GB can max Battlefield 4 so I'm sure you'd be fine.

If you're upgrading for those games only, it's best to wait for them to be out.

AMD's next series is said to launch around the same time as BF4.

The GTX 770 is a good card, but a negative going forward may be that it doesn't have full support for DX11.1/11.2.
