I have no idea what I'm doing here. OC questions.

I agree. Unfortunately, the mods don't seem to.

Indeed. I've gotten confirmation from SBAllen himself that it's toats fine to keep poasting in code font.

OC with a stock cooler isn't a very good idea. I recommend doing a stress test using Prime95 and monitoring the temperature with HWMonitor. If it stays under 90 degrees for about half an hour then you should be safe for general use.

Also, the post isn't hard to read.

Thank you. I'll try to find those two programs/sites and see what I come up with. If I find a problem, I'll look in to more cooling.

Disagree. On my phone it appears as a wall of text with font only slightly darker than the background color. It's not unreadable, but it would take less effort to make the same post, but infinitely easier to read.

On my screen it's a very bright white against a very dark black.

Okay HWMonitor is saying that my CPU is currently running at an average of 110 degrees. PC Wizard confirms that my CPU is indeed running at 4.0 GHz. That seems rather high, temperature wise...

Anyone else see the irony in using a code font and not being able to OC?

Now that you mention it, yes that is pretty ironic.

Yeah, you need proper cooling.

Erp, is that fahrenheit or celsius?

Fahrenheit. It says roughly 42 degrees Celsius.

Okay, never mind. If it gets up to around 95 degrees celsius you need to lower the clock speed or get some proper cooling.

I'll start up that testing program now, see what comes of it.
