Avoid HP desktops like the plague now. They control every aspect of the machine. Video drivers? Nope. HP custom drivers only and you better hope they haven't dropped support for that model because they will NEVER update them again. Want to install a new OS? Nope. only windows 8, the motherboard bios crashes any windows 7/XP installation you might attempt to install. Heck if it even detects that you swapped the HDD with a new one that already has W7 on it, it will crash it at the boot screen.

Not to mention they use a custom PSU that only has the plugs for the custom MB and a few extra sata power connectors. The video card is custom and only works with HP drivers. Try to install it in a new machine AMD drivers won't recognize you even have an AMD video card in the new machine.

Just avoid them. Get someone like NCIX to build you a custom rig that isn't controlled by HP and that actually lets you have the freedom to use the machine as YOU want to use it. Seriously avoid them.
