moving windows 7 from old hdd to new ssd

im getting a a new ssd on monday and im not quite sure how to do this and would like some help

im ok with a clean install but would prefer if i could move some things over like music and large game files

edit: i dont have the windows install cd but i do have the windows key

download a windows disc, install fresh on the SSD with the old hard disk disconnected. When you're done, reattach your hard drive in any other SATA slot and turn on your computer. Do some cleanup on the hard drive and you're done.
