Need recommendation for Gaming PC, (CPU & Graphics)

#1XenobowPosted 9/8/2013 6:46:14 AM
I'm planning to get a gaming PC because to a cheaper price than laptops (mostly for playing MMO games) yet I have lack of information.

Which is better Pentium 4 or Intel Dual Core? Can some provide with the latest CPU list?
Which is Geforce or VGA GeForce FX? Which does support shader?

Thanks in advance

The pentium dual core is likely a pentium D, which came out mid 2005. That processor literally can't even start most modern games. Give us a price range and location, and we will help you out. Which MMOs are you looking to run? Do you need any peripherals, or windows?

Thanks so much.

I'm planning to play Ragnarock Online 2 and Dragon Nest, but I want higher settings even more than the recommended so I can play games with higher graphics in the near future.

I do not prefer custom PCs because I do not want to get confused.
How's Asus G10AC?

My budget is about $1200.

You have a nice budget. You should do some reading and build your own PC.
