The fact that he didn't bother googling anything (which he would have found the answer to his problem, if he had done so) just further shows that he's either a) incompetent, or b) trolling.

Mirror's Edge has problems starting up without PhysX and if you don't have it, it's not going to warn you. The program will just run doing nothing in the background.

Similarly it won't run if your monitor doesn't have the supported resolution in a configuration file (the default it was 1600x1200 in mine). You have to change it to your monitor's native resolution manually. It doesn't seem very professional for a port.
