Macbook Pro issues... can anyone help?

I'm getting a thing on my wifi that says "no hardware installed" I took it to the genius bar and they said it was the airport card. They want to charge $100+ to fix it. Should I do this? I mean if thats the issue. And finding this part on the internet is kinda hard. Its a 2009 macbook pro.

I would look around on amazon and see if you can find a better price. At $80 I'd say its probably better to just have apple fix it.

try a different wifi adapter.
