How is Farcry 3

Half-Life 1 predates all modern corridor shooters, has been called one of the greatest PC games ever AND has bosses that you SHOOT. You'd think it's a one-off thing, but no! They did it AGAIN with Half-Life 2.

So, two games where you fight giant aliens, in other words. That really in no way applies here.

They could have always just made it a regular cutscene where you watch the game play for you.

That would be preferable to QTEs, frankly.

Well considering that Jason kills both Vaas and Volker in drugged up mystical dream sequences, literally anything could have been possible without breaking the spirit of the game. The fact that they took the laziest approach possible is pretty disappointing.

How long is the play through?

In Half-Life 2, you had to battle a chopper in your boat somewhere around the canal area. Later, you had your buggy and had to battle choppers as well on Highway 17. Highly doubtful those were aliens.

Crysis had you fighting power armor troopers armed with chainguns. Sometimes multiple.
Also had times where you fight stealth power armor troopers.
IIRC the final human boss was also a power armor trooper.
All of these are humans.

Also, IIRC, in a sense, you fighting a tank in CoD: MW1 arguably can qualify.
There were times in Ghost Recon: Future Soldier where you had to battle a heavily armed chopper upfront to win the mission.
IIRC the final boss for Max Payne 2 was a puzzle boss that required you to shoot specific points to defeat him.

In some shooters, they went creative with the boss fight and made it a boss area: ie an entire compound filled with mooks is the "boss fight" and to defeat the boss, you have to shoot its weakpoint, kill the head/target/leader/etc, for massive damage.

Great game but the game really dragged come the last third, the game suffered from being a little too long IMO.

Vaas is the only good thing about Far Cry 3 The game is pretty bad with the same mechanical problems as the previous mediocre games in the series. Better off jumping on Youtube and watching the Vaas movie with Mclovin.
