Because it can play video files. Same reason why I use Internet Explorer, because it can browse the internet. I rarely care about all that fancy stuff that other programs give you.


Are you doing this on your Windows 95 while checking your AOL mail?

it shouldn't exist, along with WMP

just cuz you have a monopoly of OS (as Micro$haft did/does), does not mean you can add apps to an OS and monopolise that too

it's the principle, i'm just fundamentally against anything like that
