Good card, terrible at OCing you won't be able to squeeze much if any juice out of it clocks come higher than the ASUS model but with the ASUS you can squeeze a good 10-15% more performance out of it because of it's more stable overclocking and unlocked voltage (that card is locked) worth the extra bucks in my opinion.

As others have said, 7970 is definitely your best bet in that pricerange. I've heard good things about Sapphire's offerings.
