I just got my Death Adder 2013 and I feel like it is going a bit fast. I turned acceleration off and I think I'm on 1800 dpi right now.

I'm a big fan of 1600 for OS/browsing use and 1200 to 900 for games.

This.

I don't think anyone should ever mess around with the default "mouse pointer" speed setting in Windows. This is better adjusted by your mouse's software.

^All that.

The DPI that I'm used to at those settings is 1600.

Hm. 1600 isn't one of the default options are you guys sure?

Also, enhance pointer precision actually helps from what I've seen.

If it isn't a default option, don't use it. Use something lower if 1800 is too fast.

Enhance pointer accuracy = mouse acceleration, so keep that off.
