Yeah, that's the problem. It's a 680.


It's a 680 with a faster clock and WAY faster memory. And if you want, 4GB of VRAM...BF4 recommends having 3GB. It's not a bad choice for the money.

I don't know if it can be turned off or not. Anecdotal evidence or not, my Gigabyte 4gb never hits 70C with a moderate overclock (as high as you can go without upping the voltage.) The 3 fans go up to 85% when it hits 60C and that keeps it at about 68 max for me, even running very intensive stuff like Unigine Heaven. If your ambient temp, overclock, fan curve, manufacturer, etc are different, then of course YMMV.
