I'm thinking about playing through the first and second game again so I have a save ready for the Witcher 3. I haven't read the books yet, and I'm wondering if I'll get more out of the games if I read the books first. --- The statement below is true. The statement above is false.

As far as I know, they're not all translated yet. --- "TSA lady opened my bag and asked me about my Magic: The Gathering booster packs. I explained that they're not weapons since I have no land." -Day

Only two novels and one collection are translating according to this. I read the last wish, but it wasn't memorable enough apparently.

They've all been translated into about a dozen languages --- "HE are genius, firstly." - ASlaveObeys http://i.imgur.com/SQAc17B.png

I am reading Time of Contempt right now. The Blood of Elves was okay, but I liked The Last Wish. --- Max: "I think he just needs a hug, or a sharp blow to the head."

The games are deliberately separate from the books and the tv series. That's what the whole amnesia thing is about. --- If they asked how I died tell them: Still angry.

I have The Last Wish in my desk. >_>

I've read "The Witcher" short story that comes with the gog version. It was decent enough for me to warrant an $8 purchase of "The Last Wish," but I haven't started that yet.

Yeah they're good books
I own copies of '
The last wish Blood of Elves
Looking forward to Times of Contempt when it comes out.
My friend owns all the Polish novels; but he reads/speaks Polish so it's a chore for me trying to figure out what's going on in those. --- Until you can stop death herself, I will ignore you like I would the ants beneath my feet
