Tech noob, needing new laptop

#1Void251Posted 9/10/2013 8:59:38 PM
Not sure if I should be asking this here, but I'm needing to get a new laptop and I have it down between 3 Sony Vaios (Links at the bottom of the message) Reason why I'm posting this question here is that I would be wanting my new laptop to be able to play games such as KOTOR, Civ, and Total War and I figured I would try to get a gaming forum's input on it xD

"Total War" and "Civ" are literally completely unhelpful. Civ 5? Empire Total War?

Oops, sorry. Games like CIv 5, and Total War: Rome 2, plus old ones like KOTOR and Baldur's gate. Not a PC gamer, but I've always wanted to play those games, but my current laptop is falling apart.

Those laptops are enough to play Civ 5 on low-medium, probably closer to medium. My brother plays it on low-medium with an i3 and HD 4000 and those are all i5 or i7. Not sure about Rome 2

Would the refurbished one be the best choice of them, since it's cheaper and has the better processor/ more hard drive space on it?
