Not with BF4 recommending 3GB VRAM. It's not the norm yet, but will be in the "foreseeable future".

I wonder what Assassin's Creed 4 will require for recommended? They said it's shipping with 4k textures on PC.

im confused, most new games use more than 1gb vram... crysis 1 uses like 1.5gb and thats from 2007

Crysis 1 is far from the norm...poorly optimized game if ask me

We have yet to see how necessary this 3 GB of Vram really is. For now I remain fairly skeptical.
