#1thepatrickpetPosted 9/12/2013 2:05:47 AM
Guys, I know this is a pc forum, but I wanna ask you guys who knew more about pc/laptop hardware better than me. My budget is around $500-700, with that amount of budget, what's the best gaming laptop I could get? Recommendation please, thank you very much people!

There's almost none at that price range.

$100 more than your budget, but I've seen this recommended for a few weeks:

http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/ideapad/y-series/y410p/

And I'd pay the $829 to get the higher resolution model (1600x900 vs 1366x768).

This actually isn't a bad option either (but again, $100 more than your budget):

At the top of your budget, you could look at this, but it is definitely not going to perform or look as good as the other two for its size/specs:

I'm sure there are better deals/prices out there, but taking 2mins to search I came up with these...

Does it have to be a laptop? You're paying a lot for portability.

well I don't know, I kinda need a new laptop so I figure why not buy a gaming one with that budget (I know it's pretty limited). Btw, I'm wondering with this budget, could I get a good gaming PC?

Do you need an OS monitor keyboard and mouse? If not, you can make an entry level gaming computer (only if you build it though!) Otherwise you may need to go with the " AMD trinity route" good but lacking in pure power.

The laptop in my sig does a lot of gaming. Only cost me 499. Good luck tc. The people on this board are good at pc builds, and will help you.

Except for the wastes of life who haven't posted yet who troll every gaming laptop topic about how there's no such thing.

Yeah, I agree. While I'll be the first to admit that being a **** can be funny, this joke has seen much better days.

But it is true $700 is not enough for a gaming laptop.
