I did everything. Teskdisk, recova, minitool, getdataback - no dice.
The drive was split into four partitions. The drive has no problems but parts of the pcb board is a bit messed up. im trying to get some files out and gut the rest of the drive for scrap.
so what are my options? quick format so recova can get the rest of the files back or replace the pcb board? --- Garou Gothic... Is now Online At: http://www.garougothic.com

If the PCB is damaged and is the reason why you can't recover any data then the only way would be to either replace the PCB from another HDD (has to be the EXACT SAME MODEL) or to pay for a professional to do it.
Only other suggestion would be to try a different sata port/cable in case that's the problem and do a deep scan of the drive again. --- Asus P8Z77-V Pro, Intel i7 3770K 3.5Ghz, 8GB RAM, Ati Radeon 5770 1GB, CM 690 II. Win7 x64.

Smear peanut butter on it. I've read a lot of guides and peanut butter seems to have the best effects when trying to repair electronics. --- http://tinyurl.com/3ljyptn Shooting blanks, every time, all the time.
