I noticed that even though I have crossfire 7970s, I still drop down to around 30 FPS occasionally. I'm thinking it is my CPU causing that, though, since it'll spike to 100%.

It's called Crossfire, not the game.

Compared to Tomb Raider. Far Cry 3, Metro: Last Light and I would assume Crysis 3, it's not really that demanding, even with ubersampling.

I would think if it was due to crossfire, it would happen often. This only appears to happen near the river and forest area in the second city.

It's called Crossfire, not the game.

A 3570K should have no problem with any game.

That's not even close to true, especially with xfire or SLI.

BIGGESTPS3FAN, do you have dangling object limit on? If not turn that on, will help with cpu bottlenecks or at least it did on my old 2500k.

I do not. Would explain why it happens in that forest area. Thanks for the tip.

4.5 Ghz. My GPUs are both at 1200/1650 right now.

Does your gpu usage drop during those fps spikes?

No. That is what led me to believe it was a CPU bottleneck.

I think that for how it looks, it is not really that demanding. I mean, it is demanding to max, for sure. But it is not that demanding to run well in general.

I have pretty modest specs and the game runs very smooth for me. I may not be running the game at max, but I do have it on generally high settings and it looks great at 1080p.
