I want to play something that will at least get my heart racing with a friend. Obviously has to have coop online. Scary only, nothing like L4D or something

It's kind of hard to find a good horror game, let alone a good coop game. Put them together and you have quite the rare video game indeed. I'm not sure there is one.

Actually, I think there is a System Shock 2 mod for coop (if it isn't already...never played it), and there is also a Doom 3 coop mod.

Pick one.

Seriously Co-op and horror don't go hand in hand. Buttt...

F3ar, Dead Space 3, RE5 have co-op though they aren't particularly scary...
Not changing sig till we get a sequel to Freedom Fighters.

There's Cry of Fear on Steam. Don't know how good it is, but it's free.

The only more traditional co-op horror that comes to mind is the Obscure series, which doesn't have online.

This, especially if you're using mics, I spent more time making fun of DS3 with my friend than anything. Co-op games simply can't direct the experience as well as a solo game, and it destroys the sense of isolation a good horror game should make.

I don't agree in the slightest. It just hasn't been done properly. People have such closed minds.
