It's a solid well made game. Not one I'll ever go back to but I was entertained while I played it. Got pretty repetitive in the later levels because honestly there attempts to vary up the encounters doesn't work and shooting gets pretty samey. If you liked uncharted on the PS3 you will probably get a kick out of the game, they are quite similar in many respects. If you don't like cinematic scripted stuff then you will hate it but there is a good amount of exploration to do during the campaign to break up the scripted stuff. I can't speak about the multiplayer since I just skipped it but I heard it was OK. Assuming anyone still plays it.
Also the PC port is excellent and the game is very good looking on PC. --- 3570k @ 1.260v - 4.6Ghz, GTX 580 @ 980/2106, ASUS Sabertooth z77, 8GB G.Skill Sniper 1600MHZ, Intel 335 SSD (boot).
I bought it and it's been okay, but it runs TERRIBLY on my rig... (2500k, 760gtx).
I can barely struggle to hit 30 fps with tressfx turned off, all vsync off, low antistropic and AA etc.
Kind of disappointing in that regard...
Weird on my 580 it runs on the second highest preset (whatever one has everything maxed out except tress FX) with FXAA at 60 fps (occasional drop but pretty solid 60). I was under the impression the 760 was better then my card and probably about on par once I OC it.
Did you play it when it first launched? Nvidia cards ran like crap then but the game runs fine now. --- 3570k @ 1.260v - 4.6Ghz, GTX 580 @ 980/2106, ASUS Sabertooth z77, 8GB G.Skill Sniper 1600MHZ, Intel 335 SSD (boot).
