You could Google the exact make and model of your laptop.

I still have the sticker by the keyboard that's how new it is.

Run ---> dxdiag but now that I have Windows 8 and they took out the start menu (I love windows 8 but that was a STUPID idea) I have no idea how to check It now.

Same thing for the most part... just right click the 'start button' :P

Or you can start typing dxdiag on the start screen and find it in the search fields

Or windowskey+R then dxdiag

Do you have an Nvidia graphics card? Their drivers have been absolutely terrible lately. I have to use a driver that's months old or my mouse will freeze and just slow down my PC.

I don't even know how to check my specs. I used to use Run ---> dxdiag but now that I have Windows 8 and they took out the start menu (I love windows 8 but that was a STUPID idea) I have no idea how to check It now.

Just go to the Metro screen and just type dxdiag.

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3537U CPU @ 2.00GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.5GHz

yes people always laugh when I say Intel but at least its able to run today's games on medium settings. im happy with that.

Games such as Darkness 2, Tomb Raider, Borderlands, and Duke Nukem Forever. Any other game idk because I don't own it yet.

One question. Does a pc game on medium typically still exceed a console version's graphics? Or performance at least? Or is that only on settings like ultra? Yes I know every pc game is different. I mean typically.

btw why does it say 2.00 ghz and then on the far right it says 2.5ghz? does that mean 2GHZ when the laptop is unplugged and 2.5 when its plugged in?

I'd say typically medium is on par or better than the console versions, sure.

The ~2.5 is the turbo frequency most likely. What I saw when I looked up your model of computer was a Nvidia 635m graphics card, that would be your gaming slowness problem.
