Not bashing but what is the appeal in those (job) simulator games?

Euro truck simulator is a nice change of pace to the myriad of racing games that I have, but still let's my use my G27 with a custom cockpit. Gives more variety to it.

I wouldn't play it with kb or a pad though.
If brute force doesn't fix the problem, you're not using enough of it.

Euro Truck Simulator is so well done that I appreciate and enjoy the game.

My buddy is a "farmer" (I use that loosely--he works for an operation that genetically modifies seed and he helps oversee the growth/harvest) and thinks Farming Simulator is the greatest thing ever. Cuz, yanno, you're around crops all day you want to keep that going when you get home.

Can't wait for Sysadmin Simulator, myself.

The same reason why military simulators are so popular.

The same reason why fighting alien invasion simulators are so popular.

The same reason why fighting simulators are so popular.

The same reason why driving/racing simulators are so popular. (I spent the past year commuting an hour both ways for work and people think racing cars in Forza is fun? After 600+ hours of driving in the past year alone, the fact that people can find racing games appealing is mind boggling to me /rant)

Such as Euro Truck and Streetcleaner simulator.

I tried one and was ridiculously bored.

are they for people who want that job in real life or am I missing something...

For a second there, I thought this was going to be about MMOs.

I always wanted to become a truck driver, but i can't do it now so Euro Truck Simulator is a nice alternative.

If you have an interest in it (Farming, trucking, surgery), then if course you would enjoy playing a sim of it.

Do you not get why a sim is fun? ITS LIKE REAL LIFE BUT ISNT.

Some people just find it fun. What's it really matter to you?

Some people just want to know. What's it really matter to you?

Some people find it more enjoyable... Is there more to say?

Do you like the color red? If not then ok then that was your choice.

I tried a demo. for one of those truck simulators, and there was no vehicle damage included. I think they should include such damage, to make it as realistic as possible. It would give people who don't have a driving licence yet, but want to practice, a sense of the dangers involved in taking a vehicle onto the roads.
