Or setup? Whatever you wanna call it. I'm not really a sound tech guy or savvy but I do love hard hitting bass with my music and I wouldn't mind something for gaming or possibly movies if the sound system could encourage me too start watching on the monitors. Moving on, I simply have a Logitech brand 2.1 desktop speakers, they are pretty decent.
But what about something like this for example? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16836121048
Again, I do not know much when it comes to this category but this wouldn't really be surround sound huh? Since it's 2.1 but it does have a box / woofer thing. :p
Nah really, what are the requirments to run such things & is it worth it? If so, what would you recommend?
Thank you for your time & for your patience with my stupidity on the subject. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16836121048 --- i5-3570k w/ 212 Evo | Z77 Extreme4 | Sapphire 7850 2GB OC Edition | 16GB of RAM | XFX PRO650w CE | 600GB WD | Fractal Design Define R4 case | 1080p.
If you can properly set up the speakers then go for it. Most motherboards have 5.1 outputs so you wouldn't need anything but check to make sure. --- Corsair 500r ~ P8Z68-V Pro ~ i5 2500k ~ Hyper 212+ ~ Corsair 2x4gb ~ TX750w v2 ~ 560 Ti ~ F3 1TB ~ Crucial M4 128GB ~ Xonar DG ~ Tt Meka G1 ~ Asus PA248Q
Nice.. I do have that amount to spend atm but I would prefer to spend $200 maximum, would that be possible? --- i5-3570k w/ 212 Evo | Z77 Extreme4 | Sapphire 7850 2GB OC Edition | 16GB of RAM | XFX PRO650w CE | 600GB WD | Fractal Design Define R4 case | 1080p.
I hook up my home theater system to my computer, or at least I used to when I could do the loud music. Not in a condo. I love surround sound. Totally worth it. --- You can buy a $500 console and a $500 computer and have two crap machines, or you can spend $1000 building your own computer and have the best of both worlds.
Especially on games. As long as you have a good set up and not all together you'll be fine. Mine are wearing down.
So i'll have to upgrade sometime soon.
With that I can agree, 7.1 has been awesome, makes me wonder why I delayed so much in getting a set going.
I am just one subwoofer away from a 7.2 system, I am quite anxious to hear what stereo subwoofers sound like. --- For Shuppet fans and lovers - http://steamcommunity.com/groups/ShuppetForLife http://steamcommunity.com/id/SuperSamurai190//
