PC test

#1PhotogenicAlienPosted 9/14/2013 3:22:27 AM
So I'm getting a new PC soon, and I want to check the framerate I would get with it on a large, high-quality game. Let's use PlanetSide 2 for now.

PC specs:
Graphics card: NVIDIA EVGA GeForce GTX 660 - 3GB
RAM: 16GB
Processor: Intel Core i5
Hard Drive: 2TB

Let me know if I left any important specs out please.

I would drop the 16 gigs of ram to 8 gigs if not rendering videos or anything of the sort save you a little bit of cash

Or keep the 16GB of ram and dedicate 8GB of it as a ramdisk for games.

Are you implying PS2 is high quality or hard to run?

PlanetSide 2 I thought, was on ps4 and xbox one. Oh well, different game then.

How about CoD Ghosts? (Next-gen version, of course.)

Edit: Sorry, I thought that by PS2 you meant Playstation 2.

Well, let's switch to CoD Ghosts anyway.

PS2 is a PS4 game, but next gen consoles aren't really all that remarkable.
The PC you suggested will run everything PS4 does as well as or better, provided you aren't using a dual-core i5 from way back.
You can drop the RAM down to 8GB and invest in a better videocard though.

That's all I need.

And I also found out that the website I chose the components on has a limited time low price for 16GB RAM
