Problem with newer geforce drivers?

#1refmonPosted 9/14/2013 2:00:30 PM
Somebody told me that they're sticking to 314.22 because newer ones cause usually cause driver problems. I've always updated immediately and the one I'm using right now is in beta.
Is this true or is he just paranoid

If you read this signature, then that meant that I had control of what you read for 5 SECONDS!!

No idea if there is merit to that claim. I've been using the beta 326.80 drivers without any issues so far. Played quite a few different games too.

I hear that all the time, but I have the newest official ones (320.49) and have had zero problems.

I only get that error when I overclock to badly, but it doesnt lock up. It clocks itself to default.

I've had the same problems but i only have issues when web browsing. works fine when gaming. I've heard it may be a issue with firefox which is what i use. 314.22 works great.

My firefox keeps locking up with the latest video drivers. It locks up my computer completely. Chrome seems to be fine.

I'm going to downgrade tonight

If you haven't run into any problems then don't worry about. Seems to be more common with people using the 560 ti and Firefox.
