Out of curiousity - Low Profile vs Regular video cards

#1KillerzOverHerePosted 9/14/2013 3:49:32 PM
Is there any difference between low profile and regular video cards despite the dimensions? will they perform the same?

and are low profile video cards available for all that of regular video cards? Like can i get a low profile gtx 780 or are they limited to lower-end video cards?

They will perform the same, but you're only going to find them in the low-end cards.

It'll play a lot of games on low-med at lower resolutions, but I wouldn't go as far to say it's midrange.

So a gtX card is not at least midrange?

Any Nvidia x50 series gpu is considered entry level. You only begin midrange with their GTX x60 series up to their x70 gpus.
