Do you do video rendering / encoding? Photoshop? If not you won't need 16GB of ram.

In fact no PC current PC game will need 8GB + the dedicated VRAM on your GPU

Do you plan to Cross Fire? Even so an 800w PSU is overkill. You could EASILY have two HD7950's and sizable overclock and wouldn't even push 600w

Try this build and save some money - http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1DQCd

gastaman, the XFX PSU might better because the OEM is SeaSonic, that EVGA unit is Estasis and I don't even know who they are (This is coming from someone who is a regular on the JonnyGuru forums)

Windows keys are generally tied to the motherboard / cpu. Also if your current HDD contains registry entries and drivers for your current PC that will make everything screwed up in the existing Windows installation.

You will need to format and reinstall.

I agree that the XFX is better, but I put that EVGA in that build suggestion for budget purposes (trying to squeeze an i7 and a 7970 into an $1100 budget). Also, that EVGA model is FSP, not Estasis.

Edit: Also, Johnny Guru gave the EVGA Estasis PSU a pretty favorable review.

Hmm I like your middle build, think you can work something to get the Fractal R4 in there. Let's give something VaultBoy2010 he'll really appreciate.
