De-activating Vista to install on another machine.

So i updated my gaming PC a while ago form Vista to 7 but then my mother said her machine was running slow, this is an old PC that used XP, now as I couldnt find the XP discs I decided to install Vista and use the old key but it keeps telling me the key is already in use and now have a 30 day activation timer.

Ive looked on the Microsoft website but couldnt find anything about Vista keys and nor do they have an email I can send a query to.

Is there an easy (and virus free) way to activate Vista with a genuine key on another computer? I would rather not have to call them as that would probably be expensive

try activating it and try to get the activation phone number and get it done that way.

In the UK I believe it's a freephone number if you use a landline so I would check it out first.
