Question about external sound when hooking up 360 to monitor through HDMI.

okay, let me get this straight.

you have the four speakers currently plugged into the subwoofer, while also having the subwoofer connected to your computer?

if so, what other ports are not being used on speakers?

I see now. I guess you'll need something like this:

You'll hook that up to the input for the front speakers. The input is the 3.5mm connector that you're using to connect your PC to the sub and not the red/white connectors which are output for your speakers.

alright, guess i will have to buy after all.

also, another small question... do HDMI cables come in thick and thin versions?

i removed the cover to my composite cable and yet i still can't fit both the hdmi and composite cables in there but YT videos say otherwise so it must be my HDMI cable that's too big?

edit: obviously i'm referring to the casing and not the actual plug.
