I'm using an HDMI cable.

Wondering if it's just me or it's supposed to look like this.

Have you tried your TV settings or using CCC or Nvidia Control Panel to mess with the brightness/contrast settings?

You can buy a $500 console and a $500 computer and have two crap machines, or you can spend $1000 building your own computer and have the best of both worlds.

Check if your TV has a black level setting., might be called high and low.

Thanks a lot this fixed it :)

technology illiterate here. I thought GeForce Experience was where I did all my graphics card tweaking. Didn't see the control panel.

I boosted the brightness to 53 and I can finally see things in Fallout 3 lol.
