Hi, I want to make some ncie music but what software fits for me? It has to be pretty straight forward.
(English is not my first language, Swedish is. So respect typos)

Not free, but I've used Sony Acid for 11 years. It's always been great for my midi work.

No need to get Acid Pro, you'll be fine with Acid Music Studio.

I don't think you'll find much in the way of free stuff that's worth using. I'd probably say pick up Reaper (has a free "trial" in the same way as WinRAR) and find some free VSTs.
Fan of metal? Don't mind covers? Check out my youtube and give me some feedback

Anvil Studio.
This program is bug-free. If you see a bug, it's actually a feature.
