Does anyone else here miss the days when you have a game disc?

No. Installing PC games with a disk was a pain in the ass. Sometimes the install would lock up and if the game was like 3+ disks it was annoying as hell having to swap around.

7 CDs was a heck of a lot better than 40+ 3.5" floppies... especially if disk 38 of 40 was the one that finally decided to go corrupt.

It was even worse when you were using 5.25" floppies, especially given that they really were floppy compared to 3.5" discs. :-D

I miss no DRM, but no I don't miss having to physically put a disc in the drive.

You'll miss them when the services digital games are tied to eventually die and you have only a few game boxes on the shelf, which are also pointless because they have DRM.

I miss the old box art. It used to look amazing and the games looked bland. Now its the opposite which is a good trade but I wish it didn't degrade so bad.

Don't miss discs at all but I do miss cartridges. Carts survive and discs have always been such fragile little things whose problems often don't show themselves until your already into something which turns sour.

So digital is better than physical to me if you take the restrictive nonsense out of it. It is not however worth the same price to me. I never buy a digital game @ 60 always wait for a drop to $20-30 or less but from time to time I will pay release price for a physical
