This is a split board - You can return to the Split List for other boards.

So I am PC noob how could I upgrade this to make it decent?

How would I upgrade this to be decent? Is it possible to do it for cheaps?

whats a decent one that isnt too expensive? would this enable me to play something like say the witcher 2? or would I need to upgrade cpu also?

EDIT: right now I can "play" Witcher 1 but its not very smooth even in low settings

playing re6 with 8x sparse grid ss with 32xs(2x2 ss + 8 ms)+ mixed sample x128 + 32 forced anisotropic then I hear ps4 is powerful than my pc

erm well I also wanted to get a ps4 so if its 300-400 dollars I would just be saving for that instead.

You need to look up what PSU you have if you get a video card

A HD 7770 or HD 7850 would be fine and not break the bank. It may be worth waiting for AMD's new series though, we're supposed to get information about it next week.

The Witcher 1's performance is just bad. You could probably play TW2 at a low resolution and low settings.
