The sprites look like they're influenced by Ragnarok Online.

It looks more Disgaea then FFT IMO,

But regardless things i would keep in mind, most reviews are written with a 60$ price tag in mind, ( or should, it did come out for ps3/xbox360 a few years ago) this is not the case for this pc port.

Some people will like it others will not, it is a niche title after all.

Ill be buying it for the same reason i will buy Castlevania, to support ports and hopefully get more of them. (especially from Japanese companys, they don't really do PC ports)

They have made 3 of these already so maybe they got better. (this is the 1st)

Plus mods may be interesting maybe not. i dunno if you can mod titles like this.

Even if you can mod them, I doubt anyone will. Small games like this don't get a TES-like following.

I suppose it's ok for a cheap title, but... I'd rather just play Disgaea. If you only have a PC and are determined not to emulate anything, then I suppose it's a pretty good offer.

Really? The graphics are not top-of-the-line, but are good enough. And more importantly: THE GAME IS CUTE! It makes me wanna puke rainbows. :3

This game looks similar (graphicwise) to one of my favorite games ever: Recettear. :)

Disgaea came out in 2003. Looks exactly like that.

If this sells decently I don't see why we couldn't have Disgaea (among others) on PC eventually which is what I'm hoping for.

I tried Record of Agarest War before on consoles. It was terrible. Battles take FOREVER and you have to do so many to get anywhere at all. I love Disgaea, but this game is terrible. So terrible that NISA didn't even publish it, and they publish some terrible stuff sometimes.

I don't like strategy RPGs and I don't like Asian-style cartoon entertainment (I usually don't like the stories and I never like the aesthetics), but if it's good in the eyes of the people that do like those, then more power to them.
