My computer current has only an HDD. If I get an SSD, can I move windows to it..

Well I got my laptop and it didn't come with a windows disc and there's no key sticker, although windows says it's activated and shows my product key, so I guess I'll write that down on paper for future use...

Actually it shows the product ID, not key. I can see some of the key but the rest is asterick'd.

How much space are you using on your boot drive, and how big is your ssd? If the amount of stuff you're trying to copy over will all fit onto your ssd, your best bet is probably to shrink your boot partition and cloning it over. You'll literally be making an exact copy of your current boot partition image onto your new drive, so you shouldn't have any issues whatsoever.
