Okay I recently built my first computer. I took vary parts from my old computer including ram. Anyways I know the ram was good as it had never had any issue or fail any memtest test, however it 1333 my motherboard support ram overclocking(not cpu though but it a lock cpu anyways) and I was able to boot fine with it set on 1600. What a good program to test for stabitiy for ram. would memtest still be good or would I be better off with something else.

Is it rated for 1600 MHz and your motherboard just defaulted it to 1333? If so then you should be fine without testing it.

No it rated for 1333, however I can overclock it to 1600 by use motherboard bios.
