IMO RPGs are the absolute worst genre to buy indie.

They require a lot of expertise and indies usually don't have near enough expertise to make a decent RPG.

That's like saying the rule that what goes up must come down is silly because rockets exist.

They are rules because in most cases they are correct.

indie RPGs are some of the best indie games I've ever played.

Bastion is the only I see there that had a great dialogue and story telling. I've played most of the others and while the gameplay was fun, the story telling in them was absolute trash.
