hard drive question

First time posting on this board so sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this.

I was wondering about the difference between solid state and regular hard drives when it comes to actual games performance. Loading times do not bother me at all, what I'm really interested in is if anyone has any information or examples where specific games make better use of a SSD over a traditional drive for doing stuff like streaming textures in on the fly etc.

thank you :)

Difference in actual game performance? Slim to none. At best you'll have less issues with texture pop-in where games have to load a texture from storage while you can see it.

MMORPG's benefit the most from SSD's over HDD's.
