new chrome update has added huge google search to tab page

I didn't have Chrome updated when I saw this topic, I updated it, and I got what I posted.
Then I updated another computer nearby and didn't get that search thing. Bit weird.

because that's probably the most unknown feature of Chrome. Seriously, it seems like such an obvious feature once you've used it even once, but a lot of people just never clued in.

The internet-savvy crowd has already adopted Chrome to a large degree. This is trying to capture the less tech-inclined crowd.

I think it likely that most Chrome users know that quite well; the Omnibox has been one of Chrome's main features from day one.

I just got it, it looks pretty bad. Everything else though, like the apps and links on the upper right are good though.
