Is there a way to limit PC voltage use?

#1Benjamin_ButtonPosted 9/19/2013 12:39:46 PM
Trying to cap mine at a certain power consumption for reasons beyond comprehension.

How do I go about doing this?

THANKS

Uh... If your PC is using variable voltage, something's wrong.

Uh... You mean at the wall?
If you mean components, just underclock and lower the voltage. If you mean anything else, you're doing it wrong, and should stop.

Utilize the power saving options in the BIOS.

There's this amazing, awesome thing called a search engine. There's this one in particular called Google. It's so incredible, it can answer most of your questions in 0.25 seconds! For example, it answered the question you just asked with this:

You should really check it out sometime.
