Is your PC more powerful than the PS4 or Xbox One?

Well I have a better processor and 16 gigs of ram. Once I buy my gtx 770 4gb I will be a lot better. I'm currently slightly gimped by the gtx 560 1gb.

I don't think anyone's PC can compete with the XB1's cloud computing capabilities.

PC has actually already had what they're promising for as long as I can remember. 'Cloud computing' in the sense that it's being used for here is just PR talk for dedicated servers instead of P2P.

It will let devs make MP games that utilize 100% of the consoles power for graphics instead of 90% for graphics and 10% for hosting (Disclaimer: I made those numbers up) or in reserve if that console ends up needing to host. It will make a difference, but it won't be the difference between 30 fps and 60.

So is your PC more powerful than the next gen consoles and do you plan to get a ps4 or

What kind of pc/setup do you have?

I got an i7 with a nvidia gtx 5804gb card hooked up to an led samsung 55" tv . I game w a xbox 360 wireless controller. It makes games look literally 10x better than console versions running every game on ultra. It will crush the ps4 in terms of graphics. But i still got the ps4 pre ordered... Do you think your pc is better than next gen consoles?

Just put your PC specs in your sig like all the other neckbeards instead of making a whole topic to brag about your PC

I can't grow a regular beard, let alone a neckbeard.

Yup, mine is more powerful indeed. Changed over to a PC gamer when I did my first build over a year ago and haven't looked back.

Can tell you one thing though, out of all the console exclusives out there, the only one I REAAAAAALLLLLY want is Red Dead Redemption, makes me sad that they never ported it to the PC.

Don't know, and don't care - it plays the games I'm interested in playing at nice detail settings, fluidly, that's all that matters.

Why would spend the extra cash to get a 4GB GTX 580? That makes no sense.

Unless you plan on tri or quad SLI'ing them to keep up with the newer cards power, that 4GB will never be needed. Pointless imo. Don't feed into the hype of VRAM. It's BS. All you need for the next 3 years at 1080p is 2GB with a fast mem clock.

As for the topic, of course my PC is more powerful than the PS4 and Xbox One.

But....It sure as hell isn't more efficient and it is guaranteed to age much. much worse.
