Bioshock Infinite vs Metro Last Light?

#11BuburibonPosted 9/20/2013 12:46:33 PM
Metro: LL for sure. It's definitely more fun to play than Bioshock Infinite in my humble opinion, and it might have something to do with the (optionally) stealth segments where you switch/shoot off lights, etc.

Story, Bioshock wins.

Everything else, Metro. Although Bioshock does some quite a few visually impressive moments.

I thought Bioshock was excellent, because of the gameplay

Metro.

Infinite was good too but I found the combat to be meh. I also don't like how they pretty much removed the ammo conservation element that made the first bioshock so fun to me. I remember using a rocket launcher for a couple hours strAight because Elizabeth kept giving me free ammo.

Wow just wow. It adds a lot to the FPS genre. You have many weapons, vigours, the equipment tears skylines and a variety of enemies all in one area, adding a ton of variety in combat for the player to take advantage of. I dont know but I was constantly running out of ammo in 1999 mode.

The console war is over, both consoles have gone casual, neither won the war. They both just kind of...gave up.

I have both and both are awesome. My heart says Bioshock though.

Both are excellent.

Infinite has a better story and better set pieces. It's much more arena based in its combat, which can make for intense battles, but they feel contrived.

Metro is simply more well rounded. It takes you to more places and more happens. Combat doesn't feel so arena based and is much more a progression and exploration.

Weapons are more interesting in Metro, but Infinite has powers.

I'll be replaying Metro, I won't be replaying Infinite.

Bioshock Infinite: 8.5/10

Metro Last Light: 9/10
