He was being a bit of an ass, but that was no excuse for her to try to reveal personal information. If she got fired, she got what she deserved.

She didn't try to reveal personal information. She joked with the room full of customers who were held up by the schmuck, and joked about emailing him and thanking him for holding up the line.

Listen to it again, it sounds like he gave the card to some of the customers or something, because she actually said "ya'll have his card right? You can email him and thank him.."

They shouldn't have ID'd somebody his age anyway. It's fairly obvious that he's 17 or older.

They don't ID everybody just for age they ID so they can match the name to the pre-order. Common sense people.

" I work for GS in the LA area. I am happy to report to all of you that this b**** has been fired as of today. She was a c*** to work for, and trust me when I say that we are all happy that she is gone. Also, she has done worse than just this. Just last year she was under investigation for fudging the numbers in her books because money and games were coming up missing. She talked her way out of it and pegged it on an innocent girl who just killed herself this past May."

If this is true, than she deserves jail time.

Oh, well in that case, that totally excuses all of her unprofessional behavior!

They sort of glaze over the suicide which is a much bigger tragedy then the ***** losing her job.

i dont think that girl killed herself because of this gamestop manager, it's just that girl happened to do suicide at a later point of life (if true)

Hopefully she is sueing for damages.
Why? She was acting unprofessionally and she was fired for it. On what grounds would she be able to sue?
Defamation
A pretty severe one in fact, as anyone that watches this won't hire her.

Defamation is the spreading of false information. She has no grounds for a lawsuit.

This.....stupid kids these days. How is it defamation when everything happened on video.

I'm sorry but im pretty sure you wouldnt want this lady to be working in a store you go to

Defamation requires the defamatory statement to be untrue. The truth of the statement is an affirmative and absolute defense to defamation. Since this is a video and nothing else has been said, it is de facto true.
